USTA Organization Membership is now available at no cost!
All organizations interested in engaging with the USTA must simply have an individual account holder administer the organization's digital engagement with the USTA. These individuals will initiate the activation of Organization Memberships and manage that organization on USTA.com.
Organization Membership Process
Individuals can now get set up as an administrator, link to your organization and become a USTA Organization Member at no cost. The individual who activates the organization membership will be referred to as the “Org Admin” and their individual USTA account will be linked to the organization’s USTA account.
Only one individual can be the organization administrator for an organization on USTA.com. However, org admins may add additional administrators on Serve Tennis. These additional admins can be viewed in the “My Team” tab within your organization tab.
This individual will have access to Serve Tennis and have the ability to submit and manage USTA sanctioned tournaments in Serve Tennis run by this organization.
Org admins will have to reactivate their affiliation with the organization every three years. You will be able to reactivate one year in advance.
In situations where an organization does not have an active organization administrator then anyone can search for the organization and link themselves to it to become the owner.
Please take a look at some of these scenarios and if they apply to you, please follow the instructions to activate your organization membership. If at any time you have issues during your journey, please email orgrenewalhelp@usta.com for assistance. (When sending your email, please provide your name, email/postal address and individual member number (if available) as well as the organization name, email /postal address and member number (if available) to expedite our response).
Q: Why is the USTA no longer charging for organization memberships?
A: The USTA is focused on helping all organizations that deliver tennis do so by offering tools and services to help get more people out on the court. By moving away from an annual fee for membership status, the organization will be better able to develop relationships that help grow the game.
Q: If there is no membership fee, does this new no-cost membership expire?
A: Instead of beginning at the point of a monetary transaction, organization membership now begins with the engagement of the organization administrator with the USTA system and that administrator's acceptance of the Membership Terms and Conditions. Membership terms now will last three years. This term can be extended by any administrator action that requires an additional acceptance of terms and conditions, not limited to, but including creating events within the USTA”s Digital tools and running USTA programs.
Q: If Organization Membership is now free, how does that impact organization membership benefits?
A: The USTA is in the process of creating a more robust program for its organization members, focusing on offering benefits that are more targeted for its varied types of members. With that in mind, members should expect to receive exciting new benefit offerings in early 2021. In the meantime, no-cost organization members will no longer receive TENNIS Magazine as a part of their no-cost membership. Banners and other traditional benefits of membership are under evaluation. The ability to host a sanctioned tournament will still be a benefit of a member organization.
