The United States Tennis Association Northern California Section (USTA NorCal), based in Alameda, CA, is a not-for-profit volunteer-based organization dedicated to promoting and developing the growth of tennis since 1953. It is one of 17 geographic sections of the USTA, the governing body of tennis, and it incorporates all of Northern California and Northwest Nevada.

USTA NorCal engages audiences across every level of the community. From grassroots tennis in the parks and clubs to high school tennis, tournaments and league play, community is the driving force behind all tennis in Northern California. There are tailored programs to bring tennis to a diverse set of players, including P.E. in the Schools, After School Tennis, Wheelchair and Adaptive Tennis, competitive Adult Leagues, and Junior Team Tennis.

In 2019 alone, the Adult League Department ran 13 leagues with over 73,000 players. Junior Team Tennis leagues saw significant growth, increasing its footprint with participation growing from 5,700 players to 8,400. The section also sanctioned over 500 adult and junior tournaments and continued to support the overall mission of strengthening community participation.
